"Anne Marie was absolutely wonderful! It would not be an understatement to say that she was the driving force behind us having an absolutely wonderful time in paradise. We didn't regret a single thing except that we had to leave.

Anne helped us not only plan our wedding (everything from photographers to hair to flowers), but also where to stay (a villa as opposed to a resort we considered). She even let us know about a great place for our wedding dinner and a place for a couples massage.

Knowing that she's lived on the island for thirty years really set my mind at ease as I planned a trip to an island no one I knew had ever been to, and my honeymoon/wedding at that!

She truly helped ensure everything went smoothly and eased any and all anxiety. The wedding was about our love and nothing but.

A special thank you to Anne for being a kind, listening ear with advice as I had a Bridezilla moment the day before due to a miscommunication with a vendor.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping make our wedding day (and honeymoon) exceed all expectations."

TripAdvisor lists St. John as a top honeymoon destination
By United States Virgin Islands Department of Tourism
July 28, 2017

The highly influential TripAdvisor travel review site listed has listed St. John as one of the “15 Best Honeymoon Destinations in the United States”, according to the territory’s Department of Tourism.

The 15 destinations were chosen by an algorithm that analyzed all of the property reviews on TripAdvisor Rentals to select the honeymoon destinations that have the highest-rated rental accommodations, according to D.O.T. St. John, in particular, was praised for its “world-class beaches, unspoiled forest and blissful solitude”.

TripAdvisor Rentals is the vacation rentals branch of TripAdvisor. Rental properties include beach houses, ski cabins, private islands, treehouses and downtown apartments.

Known as “Love City”, St. John’s isolation is an attraction for honeymooners. According to TripAdvisor, “this secluded destination has no airport or cruise ship dock … to reach this side of paradise, fly into neighboring St. Thomas and hop on the public ferry (or splurge on a private water taxi).”

Two-thirds of the island is part of the Virgin Islands National Park, which in addition to the hiking trails, hills, valleys and beaches on land, also encompasses thousands of acres underwater. St. John’s pristine waters offer honeymooners the option to snorkel, scuba dive or participate in water sports activities.

“You’ll be lounging on Honeymoon Beach, hiking the Reef Bay Trail, or snorkeling at Trunk Bay in no time. Later, you might find yourself shopping in Coral Bay or enjoying the nightlife in Cruz Bay before returning to your tropical retreat or clifftop villa rental,” TripAdvisor relayed.

“It’s great to see the U.S. Virgin Islands positioned among the top honeymoon destinations across the nation,” Commissioner of Tourism Beverly Nicholson-Doty said. “We would like to thank all our visitors who wrote and continue to write reviews online and share their experiences with this online community of global travelers.”

An added incentive for U.S. citizens is the fact they do not need a passport to visit the USVI. Also, with $1,600 in duty-free allowances for U.S. residents, visitors and honeymooners can enjoy some extra shopping.

TripAdvisor, one of the world’s largest travel sites, enables travelers to unleash the full potential of every trip. With more than 500 million reviews and opinions covering the world’s largest selection of travel listings worldwide – more than seven million accommodations, airlines, attractions and restaurants – TripAdvisor provides travelers with the “wisdom of the crowds” to help them decide where to stay, how to fly, what to do and where to eat.

"Hi Ann Marie, Bob and I just want to thank you for the lovely service you provided in the renewing of our vows. It was very meaning full, yet simple, and I think our children and grandchildren felt its warmth as much as we did. It all was exactly what we had hoped for. We feel very fortunate to have been able to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren at Villa St. John on beautiful St. John Island. Thank you so much"

"Hi Ann Marie, I've been meaning to contact you since the wedding on Hawksnest beach, on June 3 at 9am. I really just want to thank you so so much for making both Neil and I have such a wonderful memory. The ceremony you gave was absolutely perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better. You made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and we felt as if we'd known you forever. It was romantic and beautiful and we appreciate you and your service and your thoughtful manner. You gave us a memory for a lifetime and we haven't stopped raving about how amazing our elopement was. Thank you so very much, from the bottom of our hearts!!

"Anne Marie Selected To Wedding Wire Bride's Choice"

"Anne Marie is a great resource in St. John when you are planning a destination wedding. She knows most of the local vendors and is very easy to contact when you have questions regarding the ceremony or anything else (transportation, restaurants, etc). She coordinated with my florist and photographer so that everything went smooth and as planned. Would definitely recommend Anne Marie as she is a flexible and laid back officiant who will make your ceremony go exactly how you want it to."
